Xiaomi released its first foldable screen smartphone - the Mi Mix Fold - only in the Chinese market last year. The brand is already preparing a new model, much more powerful and which could therefore be launched worldwide to compete neither more nor less than the leader Samsung Galaxy Fold.
Xiaomi foldable smartphone, code name Zizhan
A member of the XDA Developers site recently discovered in Xiaomi's latest MIUI operating system code illustrations and mentions of a new foldable smartphone codenamed Zizhan. It looks like the brand's first model, except for a square rather than rectangular photo module. It is also mentioned that the external screen will be the same as that of the Mi 10, i.e. a 6.7 '' (17 cm) diagonal for an FHD + resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 90 hertz.
Several new Xiaomi foldable smartphones?
Other rumors announce an LTPO 120 Hz 8'' (20.32 cm) foldable screen, larger than that of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 (7.6''). The processor would be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, announcing a high-end model that will allow Xiaomi to compete with champion Samsung and expand beyond the Chinese market.
