According to Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, whose predictions often materialize, Apple's mixed reality headset - still not officially announced - will hit the market in the second half of 2023.
Apple mixed reality headset, less than 500,000 units in 2023 against 1,000,000 expected?
Previous rumors, including some reported by Kuo himself, suspected an announcement of the device in January for a release in stride. This delay is said to be due to software problems that Apple wants to fix before launching full-scale production. As a result, the distribution this year will not even reach 500,000 units, when it was initially supposed to be around one million. Given the delayed release, the announcement should be too, corroborating an earlier rumor reported by DigiTimes.
