Rugby World Cup 2023, live the matches in Ultra HD 4K

After the 2022 Football World Cup in Qatar, it is the turn of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, whose opening match is scheduled for September 8 at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, to be broadcast in Ultra HD 4K.

To follow the exploits of the Blues (or another team) with the best image quality available in France, either in Ultra HD/4K, from September 8 and until October 28 (hopefully ), it is first necessary to know the different broadcasters of the meetings. In France, three are concerned, the TF1, France Télévisions and M6 groups. The matches will therefore be broadcast on public channels, either free of charge.

Rugby World Cup 2023 on TF1, France TV and M6

Namely, the TF1 group owns the rights to the 48 matches in the competition and has decided to resell its rights for 28 of them to France TV and M6. 20 matches will therefore be offered by TF1: 14 from the qualifying groups (with 3 Blues matches) including the opening match between France and New Zealand (the Blacks), the two best 1/4 finals, the 1/2 finals and the final. Ultra HD 4K broadcasting concerns TF1 4K and M6 4K, but not France TV.

As a reminder, TF1 4K and M6 4K are available on the boxes of the various ISPs, namely Bouygues, Free, Orange and SFR. TF1 4K is also available on Molotov.
