IFA 23 > Dolby Atmos FlexConnect available on TCL 2024 TVs

Benefiting from the Dolby Atmos FlexConnect process, which aims to offer an immersive Dolby Atmos experience regardless of the layout of the room and the position of the viewer(s), also requires a compatible television set with appropriate speakers. The latter, announced wirelessly in order to facilitate their placement in the room hosting the TV, will therefore reproduce the Atmos soundtracks via a fine calibration in association with the speakers of the TV.

Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, wireless televisions and speakers coming soon

TCL will offer in 2024, in addition to TVs equipped with the Dolby Atmos FlexConnect functionality, a range of compatible wireless speakers (other brands should soon follow). Namely, the contribution of technology, according to Dolby Laboratories, is noticeable from the addition of a single Dolby Atmos FlexConnect speaker even if a configuration with several delivers a richer and more spectacular experience. However, the latter consists of four speakers, not one less.
