According to Hong Kong analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong International Securities, the 2024 iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will benefit from Wi-Fi 7 as well as an improved 48 Mpxls sensor.
Wi-Fi, transfer speed four times faster than Wi-Fi 6E
The new Wi-Fi 7 format allows transmission/reception on the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands simultaneously, for increased speeds, reduced latency, and more stability. On paper, Wi-Fi 7 is four times faster than its predecessor Wi-Fi 6E which will equip the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The current iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are in Wi-Fi 6.
