Streaming services not good enough?

The price and quality of the content, two key points which could further push American subscribers of streaming platforms to look elsewhere.

According to a recent survey by ViewNexa from Bitcentral (via Advanced Television), a provider of video streaming solutions, 46% of American viewers believe that they do not have a streaming service worthy of what they pay. 19% even say that their service can do better.

Content, always the crux of the matter for streaming platforms

When respondents were asked why they would try a new service, 76% cited “relevant content” as their primary motivation. Even free services supported by advertising would attract them, with 75% of respondents interested in platforms like Pluto, Tubi or Amazon Freevee. Finally, 65% of Netflix subscribers say that the hunt for password sharing has pushed them to consider other OTT services, without however canceling their subscription for the vast majority of them.
