We no longer need to introduce Bong Joon-ho, the director of Parasite, which allowed him to equal Walt Disney's record by winning four Oscars in the same evening!
At the start of his prolific career, he directed The Host, his third feature film (just after Memories of Murder and Barking Dog). Inspired by an incident that occurred in South Korea in the late 1980s, the film was presented at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes in 2006.
A zero plastic 4K Collector's Edition
Both a monster film and a scathing critique of the American military presence in South Korea, The Host is a total success that the years have not damaged, quite the contrary.
Following its release in theaters this summer, in a restored 4K version, Jokers Film will therefore offer the film from December 6 in a sublime 4K limited Collector's Edition with plastic-free magnetic closure, filled with more than 4 hours bonuses spread over three discs.
