In the fourth quarter of 2024, Icelandair will be the first airline to offer Ultra HD 4K screens on its planes (Airbus A321 Neo LR) for its passengers. More precisely, these will be the Oled Astrova models from Panasonic Avionics.

Astrova 4K will then arrive on Qantas' A350-1000 and A330-200, then on Boeing 787 and Airbus A321XLR United Airlines in 2025. Namely, Qatar and Egyptair have also ordered these Panasonic Avionics displays. In detail, Icelandair's screens will be 16'' (41 cm) models in business class and 13'' (33 cm) in economy class. But the Astrova is also available in 19'' (48 cm), 22'' (56 cm), 27'' (107 cm), 37'' (94 cm) and 42'' (107 cm).
