According to the latest estimates from DSCC published a few weeks ago, the first quarter of 2024 saw a 50% growth in the distribution of [abc]Oled[/abc] screen smartphones compared to the same period in 2023. Turnover, for its part, increased by 3% over the same period.
Oled smartphone market, DSCC forecasts££££
For the whole of 2024, DSCC forecasts a 21% increase in volume and a 3% increase in value for the Oled smartphone market, compared to 2023. Zooming in on the different categories of Oled smartphones, DSCC estimates that foldable models will increase by 26%, rigid models by 46% and flexible models by 13%. On the brand side, Apple will lead the way in 2024 with a 29% market share in volume and 50% of revenue.
