After an unexpected but deserved success for its first season, the Netflix adaptation of the manga One Piece has naturally been renewed for a season 2 which will be broadcast next year. And Netflix has revealed another part of the actors who will play the new characters of this season, after having revealed the first ones a few weeks ago.

As you can see on the images that illustrate this article, the casting is once again faithful to its models. One of the most striking choices is undoubtedly Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy, Married with Children, great blues singer by the way). She plays Doctor Kureha (aka Doctorine), a role Jamie Lee Curtis initially wanted but couldn't get due to scheduling issues.
The other actors are Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder in Heroes) who plays King Nefertari Cobra, and Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton) as Miss Wednesday, aka the adorable Princess Vivi (spoiler, sorry). The production confirmed that the second season will cover all the manga arcs set before the big Alabasta chunk, reserved for season 3.
