Fyre Festival 2nd try: crazy!

Infamous for its abysmal crash and its big penchant for organized scams, a barely believable story that was also the subject of an edifying documentary (still available on Netflix, Fyre: The Best Festival That Never Happened), the Fyre music festival is rising from its ashes for a second edition that would in fact be the first. Explanations.

Known as one of the most disastrous festivals in music history, Fyre Festival could be back in 2025, information confirmed by its founder Billy McFarland on X at the microphone of Savannah Sellers.

The story of an organized fiasco££££

For those who haven't followed, in 2017, the festival promised a unique festive experience mixed with luxury close to the artists on an island in the Bahamas with high-end accommodations and exclusive activities. But the reality on site had turned into a nightmare, both for part of the public (half-assembled tents, few sanitary infrastructures, lack of food ...), and for the celebrities and influencers - including famous models - who had to apologize after having promoted on the networks what would turn out to be a total fiasco.

££££ A controversial return££££

The creator of the festival, Billy McFarland, released from prison in 2022 and whose name is now known throughout the world, has therefore announced the return of his concept by still highlighting a private island off the coast of Mexico (kept secret for the moment) and a production team - this time - of quality to ensure the smooth running of the event.

The first price passes (frankly, we advise you to wait...) are already available. 100 tickets at $500 have already been sold. The higher passes range from $1,400 to more than $1 million! On the music side, names are circulating: Blink-182, Disclosure, Major Lazer, Migos, Tyga, Pusha T… In addition to concerts, the budding businessman talks about luxury yachts, boxing matches, scuba diving activities and excursions. Fyre Festival II on April 25, 2025, if all goes well…
