The sequel to Netflix's most-watched series to date is revealed in a brand-new, almost familiar trailer. It all starts up again three years after the end of Squid Game. Having won the game, player 456 has given up on going to the United States and returns with a new resolve in mind. Gi-hun dives back into the mysterious survival game, starting another game of life and death with new participants gathered to win the 45.6 billion won prize.

Netflix, not a little proud of the almost imminent arrival of this sequel on December 26, reminds us that Hwang Dong-hyuk made history at the 74th edition of the Emmys by becoming the first Asian to win the award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series. He is of course directing the series again as director, screenwriter and producer. Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun and Gong Yoo, the historical actors, will be accompanied by new ones including Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young…
