Elton John, Never Too Late: a doc on RocketMan on Disney

RJ Cutler and David Furnish have produced an intimate documentary about Elton John, who, after celebrating 50 years of his career, has just bowed out in a final sold-out tour.

Friday, December 13, on Disney+, the documentary Elton John, Never Too Late will be available from RJ Cutler and David Furnish (Elton John's husband) who followed the singer as he prepares to give his final concert in North America, the most extraordinary farewell in the history of rock during the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour (not counting those of LCD Soundsystem, etched for posterity in the film Shut up and Play the Hits, but the group has fortunately reformed since).

A confession film not to be missed££££

Elton John opens up like never before. He recounts the ups and downs of his early years in the industry, between 1970 and 1975, during which he released ten major albums, seven of which reached number one on the Billboard charts. He talks about overcoming adversity, verbal and physical abuse, and addictions before becoming the star we know today...

Note that the soundtrack of this documentary (which takes its name from the title composed for The Lion King) includes an unreleased song by Elton John. December 13 on Disney+.
