Kim Ye-ji: Korean star of the Paris 2024 Olympics becomes a hitman

The Olympics lead to everything! South Korean Olympic shooter Kim Ye-ji, who set the Paris Olympics alight with her laid-back attitude, futuristic glasses and, above all, her silver medal, has just landed a role in a series.

A character role? Probably, but not quite! The very recent Olympic vice-champion in 10-meter pistol shooting, Kim Ye-ji, has landed her first role in a series. The athlete will play a hitwoman in Crush.

This series, created by Lee JungSub, is a spin-off of the film Asia (by the same director), not yet released on screens. The Indian actress and influencer Anushka Sen has also been announced for the cast. According to information from the Korea JoongAng Daily, the producers of Crush are eager to see "the potential synergy that will result from the transformation of Kim Ye-ji and Anushka Sen into a dynamic duo". It is not yet known whether Kim Ye-ji will sport the same casual attitude and look (backwards cap, hi-tech glasses and teddy bear hanging from her belt) in the series as during the Paris 2024 Olympics…
