The Old Man season 2, Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow in freewheel

The second season of the series The Old Man is revealed in a new trailer that sets the tone: it's going to be tough!

Three things in this trailer will catch the attention of those who loved the first season: Jeff Bridges' excellent form, the shot where John Lithtgow charges on horseback, and the return of the hero's dogs. Aside from that (and that's already huge), this trailer promises even more action, twists and tension than in season 1 (see the review of The Old Man season 1). That's to say that we're eagerly awaiting November 6 on Disney+.

The official synopsis reads: "Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges), a former CIA agent, and Harold Harper (John Lithgow), the former deputy director of the FBI, must complete the most crucial mission of their lives: to find Emily Chase (Alia Shawkat) who has been kidnapped by Faraz Hamzad (Navid Negahban), a fearsome Afghan tribal leader. Faced with these three men, the young woman questions everything she thought she knew, and the consequences are disastrous. While the two Americans fight their enemies to find Emily, Hamzad makes decisions that could endanger his family and the village he has always been the leader of and to which he has devoted his total loyalty. Khadija (Jacqueline Antaramian), his sister and advisor, worries about the path he has taken, and the price they will have to pay. As new secrets emerge, Zoe McDonald (Amy Brenneman) makes surprising decisions in this completely foreign environment. Meanwhile, Julian Carson (Gbenga Akinnagbe), who has lost all his illusions, will have to make painful choices in the face of a situation he had not anticipated.
