Shinobi the movie: ninja is stronger than you!

After the success of Sonic the Hedgehog, another movie adaptation of an old Sega video game is on the way, a ninja story called Shinobi.

With two films (soon to be three) and a series, the adaptation of the Sonic the Hedgehog video game has been an undeniable success, giving studios ideas for sometimes slightly wacky adaptations of Sega games. But the latest one should make more than one player's heart beat faster, at least those who knew the blessed age of video games in the 80s and 90s.

We're talking about Shinobi, a license that started in arcades in 1987 and has had about ten sequels and spin-offs (a new version is also planned for next year). Its relatively simple storyline pits a good ninja against a clan of bad ninjas.

And it's Sam Hargrave (Tyler Rake 1, 2 and soon 3) who is attached to direct the future film. The ideal man since he comes from this generation of stuntmen turned directors like Chad Stahelski (John Wick) and David Leitch (Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Bullet Train, The Fall Guy), particularly gifted when it comes to putting action on screen, especially fights.
