Sony LinkBuds Speaker, portable and nomadic speaker

Sony is expanding its LinkBuds range with the arrival of three new products, including the portable Bluetooth speaker LinkBuds Speaker.

Launched in 2022, Sony's LinkBuds range welcomes three new references, including the [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.2 LinkBuds Speaker which we will detail here.

Sony LinkBuds Speaker, Auto Switch function££££

Featuring a 48 x 56 mm X-Balanced speaker, a 16 mm tweeter and two passive radiators, the speaker has the Auto Switch function, which transfers the sound from the LinkBuds earphones to the LinkBuds Speaker automatically once the earphones are stored in their case and vice versa.

Sony LinkBuds Speaker, carrying ring and charging station££££

On the practical side, there is a detachable ring to carry the speaker, as well as a docking station provided (see photos above and below), for charging. Note the compatibility with the Sony Sound Connect application, to control new functions such as the aforementioned Auto Switch, Quick Access and Auto Play.

Sony LinkBuds Speaker, battery life££££

With an IPX4 rating (water resistant), the speaker has a battery life of 25 hours. Finally, note that no plastic is used in the packaging, and that the LinkBuds Speaker incorporates recycled plastic materials in its design.

Available in light gray or black. Recommended price: 159 euros.
