Retro-alcoholic, the Atari whisky carafe

If your two passions are alcohol (in moderation, mind you) and retro video games, Atari has released the perfect gift to give you for Christmas.

Alcohol isn't just for Game of Thrones, Star Wars or Ray Donovan (comedian Liev Schreiber has since created his own whisky brand, Slainte, which means "cheers" in Irish). Even video games have a connection with the intoxicating drink. As proof, this whisky lover's set, reminiscent of the good old Atari 2600 console from 1977.

Two glasses, no more££££

More precisely, the centrepiece of this kit is a decanter shaped like the console's CX-10 controller. Standing 19 cm tall and able to hold up to 750 ml of liquid, it comes with two 300 millilitre whisky glasses. The whole thing sits on an "Atari" tray measuring 33 x 15 centimetres. Please note that the carafe and glasses are made of borosilicate glass and are not dishwasher safe.

With a total weight of 1.580 kg, the set is available at the recommended price of $125 (delivery possible in France). And to be consumed in moderation, of course.
