All the way to Japan for Star Wars Visions season 3

In 2025, major Japanese animation studios will return to revisit the Star Wars universe in the third season of the Disney+ anthology series Star Wars Visions.

After a first season in 2021 and a second in 2023, the Star Wars Visions series seems to be taking a regular rhythm by returning a third time in 2025 on Disney+.

As a reminder, the series is a collection of independent episodes - or anthology - produced by several renowned animation studios. If the second season had highlighted studios from all over the world (Japan, India, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, France, South Africa, South Korea and the USA), the first season was produced exclusively by Japanese creators, which will again be the case for the new season next year.

Several studios are back for this version: Kamikaze Douga, Kinema citrus Co., Production IG and Trigger. And new ones are joining the production ranks: Anima (in co-production with Kamikaze Douga), David Production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio Q and WIT Studio.
