TNT 4K France 2 UHD, live for the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris

The reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris scheduled for December 7 and 8 will be broadcast live by France 2 and France 2 UHD. If you are covered by TNT 4K, do not miss this event, the images promise to be splendid.

If you were able to compare the audio-video quality of the France 2 UHD channel last summer during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in reception [abc]TNT[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] Vs [abc]streaming[/abc], you know that the show offered by the terrestrial antenna is better or even significantly superior to that of the internet or 4G/5G network.

Notre-Dame de Paris: yes to Ultra HD 4K, no to Dolby Atmos££££

In a different genre to that of the Olympic Games, the native [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] 4K [abc]HDR10[/abc] video show expected on France 2 UHD for the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris on December 7 and 8 promises to be grandiose. On the other hand, the audio show will not be of the same caliber: if the Paris 2024 Olympics were broadcast in [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] 5.1.4, it will be simple stereo for the event at Notre-Dame. This information was gleaned from the very mouth of Jacques Donat-Bouillud, the director of broadcasting at France Télévisions, during his speech at the 4th edition of the Colloquium Avenir de la TNT which took place in Paris last week. This is probably due to the reduced technical resources implemented, linked to the budget cuts already underway at France TV. Nevertheless, let's not deny ourselves the pleasure, this retransmission will allow us to see the cathedral in its best light, certainly a (re)discovery for all.
