Apple smart glasses in sight? Let’s see…

Apparently, there is serious work going on internally at Apple to decide on the viability of future smart glasses.

While Meta is showing serious intentions to dominate the smart glasses market (see the Orion prototype), Apple is still only in the thinking phase, despite impressive technologies available in the (too expensive) Apple Vision Pro headset.

Apple asks its employees about the interest in smart glasses££££

While rumors about Apple smart glasses have been circulating for a while and the latest ones even see them arriving in 2027, we will apparently have to wait longer. Under the code name Atlas, this initiative led by the Product Systems Quality team consists of collecting the opinions of Apple employees about smart glasses. “Testing and developing products that everyone can grow to love is very important to what we do at Apple,” the group wrote in an email to selected employees at the company’s headquarters, Bloomberg reports.
