Hardly a week goes by without the still-secret foldable iPhone project making headlines.

Rumors keep coming and this time it's the Wall Street Journal that mentions the project of an iPhone with a foldable screen.

Thus, several sources described as reliable affirm that Apple is seriously studying the various challenges to be overcome regarding the design of such a device, starting with the visible marking at the level of the fold of the screen. Today, the models marketed suffer from this unsightly element and Apple categorically refuses to release a product considered "imperfect". Once this technical problem is resolved, this first iPhone would adopt the clamshell shape of Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip, with a screen that closes on itself and measures at least 7" (approximately 17.8 cm) when unfolded, larger than that of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. For comparison, the Z Flip 6 has a 6.7" (17 cm) screen.
