It now remains to be seen what Hisense France's plans are for the Hisense UX 2025 TV series. Initially announced with two references with the Hisense 116UX and Hisense 110UX (the latter, already announced at the beginning of 2024, arrived late in France, just in time to be presented at the Paris Audio Video Show held at the end of October in Paris). What will the UX series actually be? Will it have two references, in which case which ones: 110UX and 116UX for a mix of Mini and Mini LED RGB technology, or 100UX and 116UX with the same Mini LED RGB technology? Or three references with the 100UX, 110UX and 116UX? Answer in a few weeks after consultation with resellers/distributors…

Like its "big brother" 116UX, the Hisense 100UX Mini LED RGB Ultra HD 4K has a backlighting system called RGB Local Dimming Technology. If for the 116" specimen there are 15,680 zones, each equipped with three diodes (one red, one green, one blue, the Quantum Dot filter disappears) for colors of unprecedented purity and energy, we have no information on the subject for the 100UX. On the other hand, in terms of colorimetry, the 97% coverage of the Rec.2020 gamut remains in place.
Similarly, the Color Volume progresses via an encoding of each of the three colors on 26 bits. The possibility of managing the zones by group and controlling the brightness of the latter, concomitantly with a management of the luminous intensity of each of the zones, allows an extremely fine management of the brightness. This process makes it possible to generate the brightness of the colors independently and to eliminate the blooming phenomenon while maintaining precise control of each pixel. In the end, the Hisense 100UX TV also announces a peak brightness at 10,000 nits.
One of the other benefits of a Mini LED RGB backlight system is the reduction in the emission of blue light harmful to the eyes. Its percentage here shows 38% of the light emitted compared to 70.5% on a classic Mini LED TV. And since only the diodes necessary for displaying an image are activated, energy consumption is also reduced, by 30%.
