Amadeus 4K, the Collector's Steelbook box set looks like this

Warner announced today the upcoming release of Amadeus 4K, the legendary comedy-drama by Miloš Forman that has left its mark on the history of cinema. 41 years after its theatrical release, the film is back in a restored 4K version through a Collector's Edition with new bonus features and goodies. A wild dive into the tumultuous and prolific life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

From his strained relationship with Salieri, the court composer who feels a mixture of hatred and fascination for the young prodigy, to his exuberant sexual escapades, Amadeus paints the portrait of a man shot through with flashes of genius and endowed with an energy that will consume him (the last sequence of the film showing Mozart dictating the score of a requiem to Salieri is a real cinema lesson in itself).

A great film with impeccable and inspired direction, Amadeus is already a must-have for your 4K collection. It is announced on March 12 in an exclusive Steelbook box containing the cinema version of the film (HDR10), the Blu-Ray of the film, a booklet on the film (35 pages, French), a double-sided poster and six Collector cards. Recommended price: 44.99 euros.
