Philips OLED810 TV: Oled EX 1,500 nits, P5 Gen9, Game Bar 2.0, Ambilight and 4 HDMI 2.1

Continuing our overview of the 2025 TV range from Philips, after the Philips OLED760 series, we now turn the spotlight to the Philips OLED810.

The Philips OLED810 series has five references, the Philips 42OLED810 (42'', 107 cm), Philips 48OLED810 (48'', 122 cm) Philips 55OLED810 (55'', 140 cm), Philips 65OLED810 (65'', 165 cm) and Philips 77OLED810 (77'', 196 cm). Their foot is central except for the 77" specimen equipped with a double foot, for safety reasons.

Philips OLED810, 2.1 sound section by Bowers & Wilkins££££

On the Philips OLED810 TVs, we find a [abc]2.1[/abc] sound section, still by Bowers & Wilkins, capable of delivering 70 W (50 W on the 42''). Philips indicates that the crossover has been particularly well thought out to precisely separate the frequencies intended for the front speakers from those of the [abc]boomer[/abc] (triple ring). Namely, four passive membranes are present to reinforce the impact of the bass.

Philips OLED810, Ambilight function££££

The three-sided Ambilight function is in place. As a reminder, the latter has been managing the colored diodes placed at the front for three years now. the back of the TV, around the edge of the panel, independently and no longer by group of diodes, for significantly more precise synchronization with the images displayed on the screen. The new Ambilight Aurora gallery feature, rich in numerous embedded images and videos, allows for just as many exclusive artistic atmospheres in your living room.

Philips OLED810, P5 AI Gen9££££

On the menu of the Philips OLED810 TV series, the ninth generation of the P5 processor equipped with new artificial intelligence features. In addition to Deep Learning and Machine Learning attributes via the AI Adaptive Intelligence process, the processor is now able to optimize its performance based on additional data: metadata, source information, analysis of a complete image, detection of the environment, big data learning, etc.

The new AI Adaptive Gamut Enhancer feature, particularly designed for Rec.709 sources, optimizes color rendering to fully exploit the wider colorimetric potential of the new Oled EX panel, for more vivid saturation without affecting skin tone. This color enhancement setting is accessible to the user and can be adjusted to suit their tastes: natural, balanced and vibrant.

Philips OLED810 TV, new Game Bar 2.0££££

Of course, the Game Bar is still present on the Philips OLED810 TVs but in a 2.0 version, i.e. offering access to the Blacknut and Boosteroid Cloud Gaming services. Otherwise, it allows users to quickly access game-related settings and change them on the fly without wasting time. The MEMC Gaming motion compensation processing and Dolby Vision Gaming 120 Hz HDR offer an exceptional video gaming experience. The player can choose from several game profiles (FPS, RPG, etc.). The same goes for Ambilight. Namely, the Game Bar 2.0 displays an im/s counter (number of frames per second) to best configure the parameters of a game and the FreeSync Premium and G-Sync certifications are required.

Also to know for the Game Bar 2.0, in the presence of the most popular games on the market it recognizes their title and applies the associated optimized settings. It is also possible for the user to save a specific audio-video setting according to their games. Subsequently, the television will recognize the displayed game and automatically apply the saved settings. Finally, the Game Bar 2.0 allows a careful choice of display colors within a wider panel and various filters.

Philips OLED810 TV, Oled EX panel££££

The Oled EX technology is at the heart of the Philips OLED810 TVs with a native 144 Hz panel for a peak brightness announced at 1,500 nits. Please note, as in previous years, the Philips 42OLED810 and Philips 48OLED810 TVs have a classic Oled panel and not Oled EX.

Philips OLED810 TV, the connectivity ££££

Everything happens! In 2025, Philips OLED810 TVs will have four [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.1 inputs with [abc]eARC[/abc], [abc]VRR[/abc] (from 40 Hz to 120 Hz), [abc]HFR[/abc] 4K/120 and [abc]ALLM[/abc] compatibility.

TV Philips OLED810, Google TV, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR HLG and HDR Dolby Vision££££

Apart from the brilliant Ambilight process in its three-sided version, the compatibilities with [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc] up to [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] and 120 Hz, HDR [abc]HLG[/abc] and [abc]HDR10+[/abc] Adaptive technologies are still relevant. The same goes for the Smart Google TV function, the new Moments application allowing the rapid transfer to the big screen of your favorite photos stored on your smartphone and to add visual and sound effects, as well as Matter and Control4 compatibilities.
