Philips OLED760 TV: Oled EX 1,000 nits, P5 Gen7 and 4 HDMI 2.1

Traditionally absent from the CES show in Las Vegas, Philips organizes a speech every year a few weeks after the big consumer electronics event in the gaming capital. In 2025, for the second year, the European media will meet the brand in Barcelona to discover the new audio-video products for 2025. First up are the televisions, starting with the Philips OLED760 series, the most affordable in the Oled range.

The Philips OLED760 series consists of four models, the Philips 48OLED760 (48'', 122 cm), Philips 55OLED760 (55'', 140 cm), Philips 65OLED760 (65'', 165 cm) and Philips 77OLED760 (77'', 196 cm).

Philips OLED760, 1000 nits Oled EX panel, 3-sided Ambilight and P5 AI Gen7££££

The 120 Hz Oled EX panel technology is at the heart of the Philips OLED760 TVs for a peak brightness announced at 1000 nits. The brilliant three-sided Ambilight function is included on the Philips OLED760 TVs. As a reminder, for three years now, the latter has managed the color diodes placed at the back of the TV, around the edge of the panel, independently and no longer by group of diodes, for significantly more precise synchronization with the images displayed on the screen. Also on the menu for this TV series, the seventh generation of the P5 processor equipped with new artificial intelligence features, particularly in terms of colorimetry with the AI Adaptive Intelligence and AI Adaptive Gamut Enhancer processes, for a magnified experience. The sound section is not left out with the Intellisound function which automatically refines the audio parameters according to the nature of the content displayed on the screen.

TV Philips OLED760, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR HLG and HDR Dolby Vision££££

Compatibility with [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc] technologies up to [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] and 120 Hz, HDR [abc]HLG[/abc] and [abc]HDR10+[/abc] Adaptive are still available compared to the Philips OLED759 TV 2024 vintage. The same goes for Matter and Control4 compatibility.

TV Philips OLED760, Smart TV Titan OS££££

No Google TV or Android TV on the Philips Oled760 screens, but the new Smart TV Titan OS 2025 interface developed in partnership with the European company of the same name and launched last year on the Philips PML9049 Mini LED and Philips PUS8909 LED TV series. This operating system, created by former employees of Disney, Roku, Rakuten, KKR, etc., allows access to the biggest streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, YouoTube, Disney+, Pluto TV, DAZN, etc.). Likewise, it integrates the new Moments application allowing the rapid transfer to the big screen of your favorite photos stored on your smartphone and the addition of visual and sound effects, etc.

Good news for gamers, the latest version of Titan OS offers the Game Bar 2.0 providing access to the Cloud Gaming services Blacknut and Boosteroid. This also allows users to quickly access game-related settings and change them on the fly without wasting time, for example by choosing various game profiles (FPS, RPG, etc.). MEMC Gaming motion compensation processing and Dolby Vision Gaming HDR provide an exceptional video gaming experience. Namely, the Game Bar displays an fps counter (number of frames per second) to best configure the settings of a game and the FreeSync Premium and G-Sync certifications are in place.

Philips OLED760 TV, connectivity ££££

Everything is coming! In 2025, Philips OLED760 TVs will feature four [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.1 inputs with [abc]eARC[/abc], [abc]VRR[/abc] (from 40 Hz to 120 Hz), [abc]HFR[/abc] 4K/120 and [abc]ALLM[/abc] compatibility.
