For owners of such a television, simply go to the Tizen application store and select the myCanal app to install it. For those who will buy a Samsung 2024 Smart TV from today, there is normally nothing to do, the application will be immediately available alongside that of Netflix, Disney+ Amazon Prime Video… After a quick first test, all the myCanal features seem to be there: Star Over, profile management, Canal VOD, Expert mode (Editor's note: the F1 championship resumes on March 16 with the Australian GP in Melbourne) …
As a reminder, Samsung Smart TVs from the 2017 model year no longer benefit from myCanal since January 31, due to the incompatibility of Tizen 2017 with the new security measures implemented by the encrypted channel.
