We knew that the iPhone 17 range would see some design changes, including a new horizontal positioning for the rear camera module. But everything is happening very quickly behind the scenes and this rumor would already be obsolete.

In one of his latest Front Page Tech shows, based on several sources "in the know", Jon Prosser indicates that the photo lenses of the iPhone 17 Pro will keep the traditional triangle placement on the left, but in a new protuberance occupying the entire width, with the flash, microphone and LiDAR sensor on the right. And to explain that a horizontal alignment of the sensors is technically complicated on iPhone (even if Google's Pixel already does it). This protuberance, which extends horizontally, sports a darker color than the rest of the device, giving this generation of iPhone a new look that will certainly be retained for models in the next three to four years.
