The device features patented proprietary networking technology TrueMesh (to automatically route data through the fastest path on the network), TrueRoam (to connect users to the best available Eero as they move between floors, rooms, or buildings), and TrueChannel (automatically selects the optimal channel for a device while working in the background to improve network resiliency) and enables wireless transfer speeds of up to 3.9 Gbps and wired throughput of up to 4.7 Gbps through its two 2.5 Gigabit [abc]Ethernet[/abc] ports. The Eero Pro 7 has a compact design, so it can easily be installed on a shelf or on the TV stand, next to or under the screen. Namely, one Eero Pro 7 unit covers up to 190 square meters and the management of 200 devices, and we reach 560 square meters and 600 devices with three modules. Amazon specifies that it is possible to connect as many Eero 7 units together to benefit from coverage in the largest of castles.
Finally, the Amazon Eero Pro 7 can also serve as a Matter or Zigbee hub and subscribers to the Eero Plus service can benefit from online security features and parental controls, online backup and the 1Password applications (password management), Malwarebytes (protection against viruses or malware) and Guardian (VPN).
