iOS 19, preview of the new design

The new iPhone operating system planned for the fall will rethink the design of the graphical interface, undoubtedly the biggest upheaval since 2013.

Corroborating previous rumors, renowned Apple leaker Jon Prosser shows us what the new iPhone interface will look like, which will be rolled out in the fall with the iOS19 update.

Based on internal sources at Apple, Prosser reproduced the interface in a video on his Front Page Tech channel. It illustrates the changes, which are inspired in particular by Apple Vision Pro, with rounder icons, and more depth with shadow effects. Also noteworthy is an animated border around certain icons depending on the movements of the iPhone, mimicking the appearance of a glass texture.

Another detail, most of the in-house applications (App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV, Messages, etc.) have an ovoid mobile bar at the bottom of the screen, a bit like the Dynamic Island that covers the photo sensor of the latest models. The new iOS19 will be officially presented in June at the WWDC 2025 developer conference.
