With the Hisense 116UX and Hisense 100UX TVs, the brand will be able to boast of offering Mini LED RGB diffusers for sale this year, in addition to the largest TV in the world with an inch better than the TCL 115X955 (115", 292 cm). For its part, the Hisense 110UX, the only survivor of the UX series vintage 2024, is already known and available for sale since the end of 2024 (see our news Hisense UXN TV: Mini LED 75''/98''/110'', Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, up to 40,000 zones and 10,000 nits).

The Hisense UX 2025 TV series will therefore ultimately have three references, the Hisense 116UX (pictured below) and Hisense 110UX, not forgetting the Hisense 110UX (the latter already announced in 2024). With the marketing of the first named in China, we know a little more about its technical specifications. And if they correspond more or less to those mentioned at the CES 2025 show in Las Vegas last January, they are nevertheless a bit less revealing. The peak brightness is now around 8,000 nits (compared to 10,000 nits announced at CES).
Similarly, if the Hisense 116UX Ultra HD 4K incorporates a backlighting system called RGB Local Dimming Technology, the number of zones peaks at 10,752 and not 15,680, a value which in fact represents the number of color adjustment zones. Of course, each zone is equipped with three diodes (one red, one green, one blue, the Quantum Dot filter disappears) for colors of unprecedented purity and energy. In terms of colorimetry, efficiency is on the rise and the announced performances command respect with 97% coverage of the Rec.2020 gamut.
Similarly, the Color Volume progresses via encoding of each of the three colors on 26 bits. The possibility of managing the zones by group and controlling their brightness, concomitantly with management of the light intensity of each of the zones, allows extremely fine management of the brightness. This process makes it possible to independently generate the brightness of the colors and to eliminate the blooming phenomenon while maintaining precise control of each pixel.
One of the other benefits of a Mini LED RGB backlighting system is the reduction of blue light emissions that are harmful to the eyes. Its percentage here shows 38% of the light emitted compared to 70.5% on a classic Mini LED TV. And since only the diodes necessary to display an image are activated, energy consumption is also reduced, by 30%.
