Samsung sartphone market leader in 2022?

Samsung is also expected to increase production by 1.1% year-on-year and will manufacture 276 million smartphones to capture 20% of the market. The Korean leader would be followed by Apple (18%), Xiaomi (16%), Oppo (15%), and Vivo (11%).

Samsung should however encounter difficulties in emerging markets, the Korean manufacturer concentrating its efforts on high-end models like the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3 and the next Galaxy S22. The other manufacturers (except Apple) offer much more extensive low-end lines.
