If you read AVCesar.com regularly, you know that the Samsung QD Oled TV saga, initiated in February 2018 in our columns, has seen many episodes, with many twists and turns. This, according to an industry source, should however come to an end in 2022 with the marketing of the first Samsung QD Oled TV series with three specimens, 55 '' (140 cm), 65 '' ( 165 cm) and 70 '' (178 cm).

Also according to the sources of our Korean colleagues, the presentation to the world of these models is scheduled for the CES show in Las Vegas 2022 (still planned face-to-face but this could change in the coming weeks…) next January, followed by availability in stores at the end of spring.
These televisions would come within the Samsung range just above the Mini LED references and below the “general public†Micro LED TVs (as opposed to the professional Micro LED series developed by Samsung). The latter should also count four screen sizes in 2022 from 76 '' to 110 '' (see our news TV Micro LED Samsung 76 '' and 88 '' delayed to 2022?). As such, other sources in the screen industry told The Korea Economic Daily that Samsung plans to build a factory in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam, dedicated to manufacturing Micro TVs. 77 '' and 88 inch LEDs.

Another precision published by Korean journalists, the QD Oled Samsung TVs will be based on Oled panels produced by Samsung Display, the production of which would have started at the end of 2020. This is what dispels the rumor of the use of White Oled panels signed LG Display by Samsung (see our news Oled TV panels LG Display at Samsung? The huge rumor of the day) which appeared in April.
