According to the indiscretions gathered by Mark Gurman of the Bloomberg agency, Apple will give a little boost to its range of connected watches next year, in particular with a new Apple Watch SE, plus a robust model already mentioned in a rumor dating from last March.
New Apple Watch SE focused on health features
As a reminder, the current Apple Watch SE was released in September 2020 and is positioned as a more affordable option than the base model, notably devoid of certain options such as the Always On screen function, the rate sensor blood oxygen and the electrocardiogram. Along with a revamped design, the new vintage 2022 SE could include more health-related features.
New Apple Watch dedicated to adventure
As for the “rugged†version of Apple Watch, it would look significantly different, with a case resistant to scratches, nicks, drops and more. It would thus be intended for athletes and uses in extreme conditions.
