Corroborating a report by Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from last September, the Korean site The Elec claims that the notch introduced in 2017 on the iPhone X will disappear from the screen of the iPhone 14 to make way for a perforation for selfie sensors.

Specifically, only the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max would be affected by this change (the information would come from some analysts in the display industry). Samsung, which has a long history of supplying displays for Apple iPhones, will continue to be a major supplier for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. And according to The Elec, Samsung recently equipped itself to produce screens including perforation for future Apple smartphones.
