Technically, the Polk Audio Signa S4 incorporates seven speakers: two 25 mm tweeters for the stereo channels, two 120 x 40 mm ovoid-shaped Racetrack midrange still for the stereo channels, a 25 mm full-range speaker for the center channel, plus two HP Up-Firing 66 mm for the Height channels. To this must be added a wireless subwoofer with a 15-centimeter membrane. The total power, delivered by a digital amplification, is not specified. Namely, the Polk Audio Signa S4 is the brand's first Dolby Atmos soundbar.
We also note the presence of four sound modes: Movies, Music and Night. Likewise, the Polk Voice-Adjust technology guarantees voices of absolute clarity so as not to miss a single word of the dialogues on the other hand.
Connectivity and design
The connection has an optical input and an auxiliary 3.5 mm mini-jack to connect an external sound source. Plus an HDMI CEC eARC output to retrieve the sound of channels broadcast by the television.
The USB-A port is only for firmware updates. To return to the design, in addition to a contained length, the Polk Audio Signa S4 has a height of 6 cm to be easily housed under the television. It is of course possible to fix it to the wall.
