CES 22> Samsung 2022 Neo QLED TV, Game Bar 2.0 (144 Hz, GeForce Now, Google Stadia) and new Google TV-style Smart Hub

The Samsung 2022 Neo QLED TV range inaugurates Game Bar 2.0 and a new Smart Hub whose on-screen organization is very similar to Google TV (or Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, myCanal, PS5, etc.).

Create to respond to the constant increase in content offers via streaming - movies, TV series, video games, concerts, etc. - Samsung has therefore completely revised its Smart Hub, in the style of Google TV (see photo at the bottom of this news). In order to navigate more easily through the various program offers and, above all, to offer quick and easy access to the desired content.

In addition to a horizontal presentation of content and program sources, a specific area for recommendations (based on the user's viewing and gaming habits) is required. The latter includes the service offers to which you have subscribed for easy access. New, a vertical bar is present on the left to move quickly from one category to another (Media / Content, Art / Ambient and Game). Of course, it is also possible to personalize your screen. We can also mention the Watch Together Experience function which offers to connect with up to three other people, present on the screen on the side of the screen, to watch a movie, a game or a match and interact all together, visually and audibly.

We still know little, at the time of this writing, about Game Bar 2.0. We can just cite the Korean brand which indicates that it has carried out optimizations of the Game Bar (see photo above) without giving more details and now offers 144 Hz compatibility (Neo QLED 4K / 8K) to anticipate future specifications for gaming PCs. It should also be borne in mind that Samsung announced a few weeks ago a Cloud Gaming platform, the latter will therefore appear in 2022. As such, the GeForce Now services signed by nVidia and Google Stadia will be implemented in 2022 on Samsung Smart TVs. However, it is not yet known whether the Ultra HD 4K definition will be supported.

There is no doubt that the previous features of Neo QLED TVs in the field of video games will be used again with 4K / 120, VRR and ALLM compatibilities, high light peak and an always minimum Input Lag which places TVs in the marks the top of the podium with screens that are perfect for gamers.

See you at CES in Las Vegas next week to learn more about the gaming capabilities of the Samsung 2022 Neo QLED TVs.
