Already technically impressive, the new Xbox Series X console is improving with updates such as the recently integrated FPS Boost, making it possible to improve the fluidity of backward compatible games of the previous generation.
Explicit job offer?
Last November, Microsoft admitted half-heartedly to an upscaling software capable of increasing the resolution of graphics via artificial intelligence algorithms, like DLSS from nVidia. This intention seems to be confirmed by a job offer recently published by Microsoft, seeking an engineer whose one of the responsibilities will be "to implement programs incorporating machine learning algorithms (Machine Learning) for graphics".
Xbox is apparently still in the game, but it will probably take a while before the project comes to fruition.
