The latest update to the amazing PS5 game Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart brings a small improvement to the Loyalty mode, for users of 120 hertz screens.
Previously running at 30 images / second, this mode goes to 40 images / second on these screens, improving display fluidity. As a reminder, the game offers three modes:
• Fidelity (default): 1800p at Ultra HD 4K at 30 fps
• Performance: 1620p and 1800p, without Ray Tracing, at 60 im / s
• RT (Ray Tracing) performance: 1080p and 1440p, with Ray Tracing, at 30 fps
Fidelity, the best of modes
The last two modes boost certain technical characteristics to the detriment of others, for a result that is noticeably different but just as impressive. The default mode is thus similar to the other two (which run at 60 images / second) without sacrificing image sharpness. A promising technical feat for the games to come.
