We start our presentation of Oppo's new series of high-end 5G smartphones with the Find X5 Lite model, the most affordable of the three, while waiting to come back to the Oppo Find X5 and Oppo Find X5 Pro models later.
Oppo Find X5 Lite, 6.43'' Oled screen
Like the Oppo Find X3 Lite it replaces, the Oppo Find X5 Lite is one of the thinnest 5G phones on the market at 7.8mm thick. A beautiful object crowned by a 6.43'' (16.33 cm) curved OLED screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels (409 ppi) at a 20/9 ratio, occupying 84.9% of the surface of the terminal. The screen of the Oppo Find X5 Lite benefits from a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating, it offers a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a luminous peak of 800 nits. Similarly, Oppo announces 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut for unprecedented color rendering.
Oppo Find X5 Lite, processor and battery
To animate the case, its creator equipped the Find X5 Lite with the Octa Core MediaTek MT6877 Dimensity 900 5G processor (2 x 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 + 6 x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) engraved in 6 nm supported by a Mali-G68 MC4 graphics chip, 8 GB and 256 GB of storage memory (expandable up to 1 TB via micro-SDXC). The battery is for its part a high capacity model of 4,500 mAh. 65W fast charging (proprietary SuperVooc 2.0 technology to reach 100% battery in 31 minutes of charging) is also on the menu.
Which operating system for the Find X5 Lite smartphone?
It's Android 11 that's in charge. On the connector and connectivity side, there is a USB Type-C port and Wi-Fi 6 Dual Band, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.2 (APT-X HD) and NFC compatibility. Note the presence of a 3.5 mm mini-jack.
Oppo Find X5 Lite, triple photo sensor
The Find X5 Lite has a triple rear photo sensor: a 64 Mpxls wide-angle specimen (26 mm, stabilized, 0.7 μm photosite, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF) + 8 Mpxls ultra wide-angle (16 mm, stabilized, 1.12 μm photosite and f/2.2 aperture) + 2 Mpxls macro (22 mm, f/2.4, 1.75 μm photosite). There is still an LED flash. For its part, the webcam is a 32 Mpxls model (23 mm, aperture of f / 2.4, photosite 0.8 μm, stabilized). Video capture is possible up to 2160p at 30 fps, 1080p up to 120 fps and 720p up to 240 fps on the APN, 1080p up to 120 fps and 720p up to 240 fps on the selfie camera.
