The augmented reality business card has apparently been around for a while, but if you've never seen one before, this Japanese Twitter account gives you a taste of the rather impressive result.

The system works with a specific QR Code printed on the card, recognized by a dedicated mobile application. Once the pattern is spotted, the smartphone screen brings the card to life, bringing out a 3D model of its owner's face, declaiming a pre-recorded message. Welcome to the future!
