According to Taiwanese Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the manufacturer will launch a new Apple TV in the second half of the year, designed to reduce the gap with the competition.
Apple TV at a discount or streaming key?
In concrete terms, this is a price difference since current Apple TV models are sold at €159 for the HD version and from €199 for the Ultra HD 4K version. Apple would thus join competitors like Roku and Amazon in a more affordable price range with an Apple TV player with reduced specifications, or even a streaming key, which would be a first for the brand.
