On August 10, Samsung's new foldable screen smartphones were unveiled - the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 - and the Korean manufacturer seems very confident about the development of this sector that it literally created in 2019.
The floor to Roh Tae-moon, president of Samsung Electronics Mobile
Speaking to the Korean Herald, Samsung Electronics Mobile Chairman Roh Tae-moon recently said, "By 2025, foldable devices will account for more than 50% of Samsung's high-end smartphone distribution." In other words, it will then sell more Galaxy Z than Galaxy S within three years. Tae-moon also adds, "Foldables will become the new standard for smartphones."
It's hard to imagine such a market situation knowing that this sector remains a niche despite constant growth. However, if Apple enters the market, there is indeed a good chance that the concept of the smartphone will impose itself by snowball effect.
