IFA 22 > TCL X937U Ray-Danz, new 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos/DTS:X soundbar

The manufacturer TCL is taking advantage of the IFA Berlin 2022 show to unveil the new TCL X937U soundbar, an ideal companion for the new XL Collection 2022 vintage televisions (diagonal greater than 75'', 191 cm). Obedience 7.1.4, it manages Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks and incorporates exclusive Ray-Danz technology.
Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 model, the TCL X937U soundbar offers all the specifications of the TCL C935U already presented in our columns last April (see our news TCL C935U, Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 soundbar, DTS:X, Ray-Danz and Bluetooth). The major difference lies in the addition of a pair of wireless surround speakers for two additional pairs of sound channels (Height and surround). We can also mention the presence of an automatic calibration for high-level audio reproduction. TCL X937U, main specifications For the rest, there is therefore a third Up-Firing loudspeaker to sit the central channel, in particular for the intelligibility of the dialogues. Of course, the other two speakers placed on the top of the soundbar are dedicated to the Height Atmos channels. Namely, the TCL X937U soundbar can be controlled via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri (AirPlay). TCL X937U, Ray-Danz technology inside The TCL X937U therefore embeds the second generation of Ray-Danz technology and, as such, still creates a wide sound environment using side-facing speakers, whose sound waves are diffused via two curved acoustic reflectors. , therefore without using a DSP. TCL X937U, DTS:X on the program Good news, in addition to Dolby Atmos, DTS: X is also in the game. The box is wireless and the total power delivered is 1,020 watts. The connection has two HDMI 2.0 inputs/output with eARC function, plus an optical input. We also note the multipoint Bluetooth compatibility. Availability announced for the month of October.
