Introduced in 2016, the Utopia headphones from the French manufacturer Focal enjoy worldwide fame and come back with an improved design, as well as an acoustic update.
New Focal Utopia headphones with the aesthetic codes of the brand
The new generation Utopia thus adopts the aesthetic codes of the brand's latest Clear MG, Stellia and Celestee helmets, in particular the honeycomb grid on the outside and inside the ear cups. The Black Chrome rings are now screwed from the inside for a more refined look.
New Focal Utopia headphones, changes also to the background
Note also the double grille of the loudspeakers which reveals the red color of the engine. On the sound side, the new coil is made of copper for increased reliability, and aluminum for more lightness. The grilles inside the ear cups have an "M" shape, following the curves of the speakers for improved linearity and precision.

In terms of comfort, the headband is in genuine leather and the cushions in perforated memory foam, also covered in leather. The headphones are supplied with a leatherette box, a thermoformed carrying case in black fabric and two high-fidelity cables (3 m and 1.5 m).
