Apple and Mercedes-Benz recently announced compatibility with Dolby Atmos spatial audio from the Apple Music service on selected vehicles from the famous automaker.
Apple Music space audio on several premium Mercedes-Benz models
This spatial renderer for Apple Music arrived last year on several devices, such as iPhone, Mac, HomePod and Apple TV, but this is the first time it has come natively on a car. Apple Music spatial audio is integrated into the MBUX infotainment system on the Mercedes-Maybach models, the EQS, and the EQS SUV, as well as the EQE and the S-Class. Note that most of these vehicles are the first in the world to benefit from the Burmester 4D sound system with 31 speakers.
