Director James Mangold had already hinted that the opening scene of the film would be in the spirit of that of the second and third opus with a young Indy (River Phoenix at the time): "I wanted to have the opportunity to dive into the genre the old George and Steven way, and give the audience an adrenaline rushâ€. The actor himself was impressed by the result: "It's the first time I've seen this process used and that I believe in it".
Indeed, it's quite impressive. Mission already accomplished therefore with this trailer with the sweet aromas of Proust's madeleine, full of charm, action and 100% Indy humor. Release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (it's its official title) on June 28 with us.
