Released on October 12, carried by an enthusiastic critic and a Cristal of the feature film obtained in Annecy, Le petit Nicolas, what are we waiting for to be happy? is one of the surprise hits of fall 2022. Still showing at the time of publication, the film has indeed gathered more than 300,000 spectators in theaters.
The Goscinny girl in the screenplay and the dialogues
Co-directed by Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoubre, this Petit Nicolas benefits from a rather sensational cast led by Alain Chabat and Laurent Lafitte. The two stars lend their voices respectively to Goscinny and Sempé. Alongside them, Simon Faliu (The New Toy) and even Anne Goscinny (the daughter of) who co-wrote the screenplay and the dialogues.
Little Nicolas, what are we waiting for to be happy? will be accompanied in its Blu-Ray Collector's Edition by a documentary with interviews with Anne Goscinny and the directors, as well as a 20-page booklet.
