According to the latest indiscretions gathered by Bloomberg, Apple is in talks with half a dozen media partners, including Disney, to develop content for its mixed reality headset which should be unveiled soon for a launch before the end of the year.
The Bloomberg article also recalls that the device will be equipped with two high-resolution screens for virtual reality, as well as several external cameras to make the environment visible in order to add an augmented reality layer.
Very real dinosaurs soon?
In June 2022 there was already a similar rumor, claiming that Apple was teaming up with Hollywood directors to create content for its headphones, including Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Mandalorian…) who would be involved in a mixed reality experience around the dinosaur-filled Apple TV+ series, Prehistoric Planet.
