What a pleasure to find Idris Elba in the shoes of the London cop Luther, an iconoclastic role that suits him so well and for the first time available in a long format.
A long-awaited return
Riddled with shocking scenes, the trailer seems to have been infused with adrenaline and series fundamentals, like this shot of Luther standing on top of a building, staring down at the city below .
Recall that at the end of the last season, Luther is in prison. The film obviously starts with a riot that will serve as a means of escape. He will also meet a cyber-psychopath and serial killer (Andy Serkis), endowed with a magnificent wig for the occasion.
Luther: Fallen Sun hits Netflix on March 10th. Remember, his name is Luther, John Luther, and if the movie is a hit, there may well be more in the future.
